Christina Hendricks has been an American actress for seven time. Her most notable performance was that of Joan Holloway, in AMC's drama period series Mad Men. The show received wide acclaim from critics in the series and received nominations for six Emmy awards under the category of the most outstanding supporting actress. Since her time in the industry, which has spanned over 20 years, she's been recognized for her role on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. The films consist of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. She has also lent her voice in animation films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Prior to that, she started her career as a model. She continued with it for quite a while before making her acting debut in the television series Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. Her first big role was in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which was also praised for her performance in the popular show Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most sexy woman on earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of 2010.
